Newfoundland Pony

I took this picture on a recent kayak trip to Change Islands. I'll write more about that, and the Newfoundland Pony refuge another time. I just wanted to share this photo today.

  7. What a cute wee furball! And what a beautiful photo! Is it possible to take a BAD photo in Newfoundland? Oh, by the way, I got a whole wack of stuff from the Nfld tourist website the other day... am even more excited about the big trip!!!!

  8. The horse looks like it just belongs in its setting. It must be pretty hardy to live there.

Kayaking in that region must be extraordinary!

  9. What Michael said!

Can you roll your kayak and come back upright....then proceed to calmly paddle on down the waterway?

[if so...my hero...with a dramatic pause will be added directly after your name from now on]

  10. The ponies are beautiful and hardy and so friendly. There are a few refuges around now, trying to get the breed back on its feet, so to speak.

Michael - No ponies until you've eaten all your vegetables.

Cathy - That's so exciting! If you need to know anything, don't hesitate to ask.

Karen - I can, but I try not to. :)
