I took this picture on a recent kayak trip to Change Islands. I'll write more about that, and the Newfoundland Pony refuge another time. I just wanted to share this photo today.
What a cute wee furball! And what a beautiful photo! Is it possible to take a BAD photo in Newfoundland? Oh, by the way, I got a whole wack of stuff from the Nfld tourist website the other day... am even more excited about the big trip!!!!
Great photo, Laurita. Looks a fantastic place. And, what an awesome backdrop!
ReplyDeleteThe Newfoundland pony...such a rare breed. Looks like that was a great trip.
ReplyDeleteI want a pony!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pic. Look at that background, and then the adorable little pony. Gorgeous. Thanks for the share.
ReplyDelete;-)
great pic!! Looks like a postcard!
ReplyDeleteLet's go hang out there for a couple of lifetimes.
ReplyDeleteMan, that is beautiful country! And the pony is adorable.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, lonely-looking wind-sculpted pic. And yay ponies!

ReplyDeleteThe horse looks like it just belongs in its setting. It must be pretty hardy to live there.
ReplyDeleteKayaking in that region must be extraordinary!
What Michael said!
ReplyDeleteCan you roll your kayak and come back upright....then proceed to calmly paddle on down the waterway?
[if so...my hero...with a dramatic pause will be added directly after your name from now on]
The ponies are beautiful and hardy and so friendly. There are a few refuges around now, trying to get the breed back on its feet, so to speak.
ReplyDeleteMichael - No ponies until you've eaten all your vegetables.
Cathy - That's so exciting! If you need to know anything, don't hesitate to ask.
Karen - I can, but I try not to. :)
